Life has been rather mundane. So I'm going to do this whole post as several mini-updates.
Taxes are officially filed so I can rest easy with that, hopefully my return comes back in time for Anime Detour in early April!
Speaking of Anime Detour, I have been making progress with my cosplay! This year, I'm doing Kat from Gravity Rush 2 in her cat-suit!
I'm super excited for this cosplay! I have the jumpsuit and the helmet. I have to buy a yellow-blonde wig, black gloves, a cat tail, and possibly red circle lenses. Then I'll have to modify the gloves and my black boots to have the gray stripes. I'll have to create cat ears to adhere to the helmet, and I'll also have to create a hole in the helmet to fit a ponytail through.
The red circle lenses are going to be harder to come by. The website I used to buy from, Pinky Paradise, no longer ships to the United States. I'm super bummed!!
I recently watched the first season of Seven Deadly Sins on Netflix, and I really enjoyed it! It reminded me a lot of Magi and Konosuba! I really have been enjoying all of the characters, even Elizabeth who is weirdly okay with being molested by Meliodas.
In other news, Nik and I went to see Split recently. I've been having troubles articulating my thoughts about this movie. I really enjoyed it and it made me had a lot of thoughts about dealing with people who have multiple personalities. Also the connection to Unbreakable confused me since I have personally not seen the movie; Nik told me that it would have been even more thought provoking for me if I had, though.
How about that Super Bowl? I was honestly working through the whole game, but I heard that it was a real nail-biter! I watched Lady Gaga's halftime show the day after and I was so impressed by her powerful performance. It was unique, it had a wide variety of her songs, her costuming was tasteful, and her vocals were extremely impressing for such a large performance.
I wish there was more to talk about, but honestly, I have been rather boring! Hopefully I'll have more to talk about after Valentines Day!
